At Sonic Solar Energy we install residential wind turbines. These turbines stand 25, 40, or 60 feet tall and use the wind to generate electricity for household use. The systems we install are grid tied systems that power your electric box. If they are generating more energy then you are using, they will spin your electric meter backwards. Any excess energy you generate is purchased by the utility company. The best locations for wind energy are at the top of hills or in regions that have a great deal of farm land.
